About the Artist
My name is Stuart Phillips, and I "am" Grateful Dog Design. I enjoy getting to use & expand my Photoshop skills creating pet memorials (even as I continue to get more deeply involved in video and web design in my not-so-copious spare time).
I'm deeply grateful to get to work with people dealing with their grief over the loss of special animal companions. I am honored to help create memorials to recognize this connection and to preserve the memories for them as they feel their way through the pain of loss, even as they celebrate the joys and gifts of having shared the time together.
I believe that, as Gandhi said, "The greatness of a nation and its moral progress can be judged by the way its animals are treated." The people I work with are ones who recognize how blessed we are to have had the opportunity to share our time -- however short -- with these amazing souls.
My partner and I live with an affectionate 3-year-old tabby cat named Wizard, a sassy 8-year-old Miniature Dachshund named Sugar, and a rambunctious Catahoula/Lab (almost) 2-year-old "puppy" named Carson.
Every day they remind us how wonderful life is and how terrific unconditional love feels...
